Calligraphists in High Demand

Ahh, the life!  Go to work every day, just to do something that you love.  Oh!  Even better yet, you're the boss.  To top it all off, business is great.  You are getting all of the work that you can possibly handle.  Sounds great, doesn't it?

Pat Meacham Fries has been writing calligraphy for 44 years.She began when her daughter Kim was born."I had pictures of this beautiful girl and wanted to make Christmas cards," she said.Fries is self-taught and shows her artwork through the ArtWorks Cooperative gallery in the Aberdeen Recreation and Cultural Center and at Aberdeen's Winterfest.
